![]() To: "Federal Passes" For information on different types of state park passes, contact the Publications Sales Office, Dept. of Parks and Recreation, P.O. Box 942896, Sacramento, CA 94296-0001 (916) 653-4000. Annual passes are available for frequent users of state park day-use facilities, including boat launching. Passes permit an unlimited number of entries during the calendar year, except when parks are closed or space is unavailable. The passes do not cover entrance fees to state park facilities operated by local governments, historic units, museums, guided tours, or off-highway vehicle (OHV) units. Another annual pass is available for OHV units. Passes are available at any Forest Service office, as well as at at Park Service offices. Golden Age Passes are available for persons aged 62 and older with limited incomes, those receiving aid because of age related impairments, and those receiving Aid to Families with Dependant Children. Passes allow the holder of the pass and holder's spouse to day-use of facilities operated by the California Department of Parks and Recreation. (Some restrictions apply.) Passes must be purchased in person and are available at most state park units. Passes are available at any Forest Service office, as well as at at Park Service offices. Disabled Discount Passes provide persons with disabilities a fifty percent discount on fees of $3.00 or more for basic state park facilities, including camping, parking, and boat launching, (excluding Hearst San Simeon SHM). Senior Discounts are available for persons 62 years of age and older. Pass holders receive $1.00 off all day-use entrance fees and $2.00 off basic camping fees. When using Mistix to make reservations you must inform the reservations operator of your seniors pass to receive discount.
