Campgrounds

#01 Peninsula Campground

On the east side of the lake, 10 mi. from Pilot Hill, Hwy. 49, at the end of Rattlesnake Bar Road, Folsom CA 95630.

100 sites, boat ramp, dump station, flush toilets, drinking water, max. trailer length 18 ft.-motorhomes 24 ft., day-use area.


#02 Beals Point Campground
Just north of Dam Road, on Folsom-Auburn Road, Folsom CA 95630.

49 sites, dump station, drinking water, handicapped restrooms, solar heated showers, snack bar, picnic areas, barbecues, beach equipment rental, swim area with lifeguard services during summer season, max. R.V. length 31 ft.


#03 Boat-in Camping
You can stay overnight aboard your self-contained sail or power boat in designated mooring areas. A map of the designated mooring areas can be obtainded when you register for boat camping at the Granite Bay entrance station or the marina at Brown's Ravine. If no one is available at the time of your visit, please contact park headquarters.
Your boat must have a self-contained sanitary and grey-water system and must have sleeping accommodations for all aboard. You may camp ashore only at the Peninsula Campground in a designated campsite.

#04 Environmental Campsites
Campsites have been developed at various places around the lake to provide more primitive, walk-in camping opportunities. You can reach the environmental camps by boat or by way of the riding and hiking trails. The two sites at Mississippi Bar are accessible from the bike trail.
