  • Regulations

    • No person shall enter the Lake McClure Recreation Area without first having obtained, from the district, a permit and paying the appropriate fee.
    • Check-in time is 4 p.m. and check-out time is 3:00 p.m.
    • Open fires are prohibited unless authorized by park manager.
    • You must obtain district approval to camp overnight with more than 8 occupants.
    • You must not camp or occupy a campsite for more than 14 consecutive days without special permission from the district.
    • Quiet time will be enforced from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
    • All those under 18 years of age must be in their campsites from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. unless accompanied by a responsible adult.
    • Firearms, firecrackers, explosives or fireworks are not allowed within the Lake McClure Recreation Area.
    • No swimming is allowed at swimming lagoons between dusk and sunrise.
    Boating Requirements

    • Launch, moor, or beach boats in designated areas only.
    • Boats must travel in a counter-clockwise direction.
    • No person shall sleep overnight in any boat unless you have written permission from the district.
    • 10 mph speedlimit at night. Follow posted limits during the day.

    • Spring/Summer - 90 to 100 Degrees
