About The Lake

Centrally located between San Francisco and Los Angeles, Lake Nacimiento is one of Central Californias most beautiful lakes. The lake is 16 miles long with 165 miles of coves and inlets of towering pine and shady oaks scattered among the grassy slopes of San Luis Obispo County.

Lake Nacimiento is famous for its great White Bass fishing, and is the only lake in California stocked with these fiesty fighters. The lake also holds a good population of largemouth, smallmouth, crappie, catfish, and bluegill.

The Lake Nacimiento Resort offers its guests a full range of vacationing options, from its tent and r.v. camping facilities or its self-contained RV and rental trailers, all the way up to the fully furnished Lakeview Lodges with deluxe accomodations and views of the lake from every unit.

The full-service Marina will meet your boating needs, from gas and oil, fishing equiptment and licenses, to up-to-date fishing reports.

Open daily, the General Store is stocked with everything you may want or need, and the Restaurant is open during the summer for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Resort offers many other luxuries, some that are free to its guests, such as a swimming pool and hot tubs.
